ILLUMINATIONS ART AND RESOURCE CENTER
Illuminations is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a light-art artist resource center founded by Louis M. Brill to explore light as an art medium for sculpture and decorative illumination.
The center has three goals:
1 |
Create light art | ||
| The center is constantly designing and building new light art sculptures which range from table top displays to performance-based light show projectors. | |||
2 |
Expand light art networking opportunities
| Keeping up with the Joneses . . . sharing resources about new light-art design techniques and keeping abreast of new light art exhibits as they happen. | |||
3 |
Create light art gallery shows
Developing an on-going light art gallery show of collected works by various light artists. Currently this art gallery show is in the proposal/development stage. A finished proposal will be circulated to interested Bay Area art galleries for consideration to host a Bay Area light-art exhibition. |
